Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Tellavid. Plain language, because you should actually be able to read them.
The service
Tellavid generates video from text you provide. You supply a topic and settings; the service produces a script, narration, images, optionally animation, a thumbnail and a finished video file.
We do not upload anything on your behalf. Distribution is entirely yours.
Your account
You need an account to use the service, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done under your account.
One person or organisation per account. Do not share logins.
Who owns the output
You do. You own the videos you generate and may publish, monetise and modify them commercially without paying us anything further.
We claim no ownership over your output. We may display videos you explicitly choose to submit for our showcase, and nothing else.
What you may not generate
Content that is illegal where you or we operate; content that harasses, defames or impersonates a real person; sexual content involving minors; content designed to deceive about a real event or person in a way likely to cause harm.
We may suspend accounts that generate this material, and we may refuse a generation request without refunding the credits it would have consumed.
Credits and payment
Credits are consumed by generating video. They are reserved when a project starts and charged when it completes; a failed run returns the reservation.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals and leaves your current period intact. Monthly credits do not roll over.
Availability and accuracy
The service is provided as-is. Generation depends on third-party models and can fail, queue, or produce output you do not like — that is why there is a review stop before rendering.
Generated scripts may contain factual errors. Check anything you intend to present as fact. You are responsible for what you publish.
Ending the relationship
You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms.
On termination you lose access to the service; videos you have already downloaded remain yours.
