Credits and costs
What a credit is, what a video consumes, and how the spending cap works.
The unit
One credit is one minute of finished stills video. An animated minute costs three credits.
A ten-minute stills video is ten credits. The same video fully animated is thirty.
Reserved, then charged
Credits are reserved when a project starts and charged when it finishes. If a run fails, the reservation is returned — you are never charged for a video you did not get.
The spending cap
Separately from credits, each project carries a hard cap you set at the start. If the run would exceed it, the run stops and waits rather than spending past it.
This exists because generation costs scale with length and scene count, and a thirty-minute animated video is a meaningfully different amount of work from a five-minute one.
